In a statement, the Brotherhood expressed its concerns about the escalation of events and the resulting casualties in Bahrain, saying this escalation "portends grave dangers."
The group called on "the people of Bahrain in all walks of life to get over their differences and to put aside feelings of tribalism, sectarianism and factionalism.”
The Brotherhood also called on the authorities to “adopt the principle of dialogue to resolve problems in a context of Islamic brotherhood, national unity and kinsmanship."
“Popular demands reflect the people’s will and officials must listen to and enforce what is in the public’s best interest," read the statement.

“We have facilitated the recruitment with a view to providing employment to Pakistanis,” he added.

Demolition of Bahrain Pearl Square

On Friday, authorities in Bahrain have torn down the statue at the centre of Pearl roundabout in the capital, Manama, where pro-democracy protests were held for weeks.
The concrete statue of six dhow sails holding up a pearl was demolished using drills and diggers on Friday.
On Friday Sheikh Khaled bin Ahmed al-Khalifa, Bahrain's foreign minister, said the demolition of the statue was an effort to erase "bad memories".

Sheikh Issa Qassim, Bahrain's most influential Shia cleric, said during Friday sermon that Gulf troops would have been better off helping Palestinians in Gaza than entering Bahrain.
The statue that was demolished comprised six sails symbolising each of the six members of the Gulf Cooperation Council, holding up a pearl, symbol of the pearl fishing heritage that was the economic mainstay of the region before the discovery of oil.
"It is a kind of psychological victory for the protesters," said Hussein Oraibi, who works in telecommunications.
"It upset them so much that people were gathering there, they had to go out of their way to pull this down and change the traffic directions." (Agencies)

Regionally, Israel is the biggest loser. It has put all its eggs into the basket of Arab dictators and autocrats, like Egypt's deposed Hosni Mubarak. Israel fought tooth and nail to support Mr Mubarak, who played a key role in tightening the siege of Gaza and the noose around Hamas's neck.

Time and again, the Israeli political class has proven to be its own worst enemy. Israel lost Iran 40 years ago because it put all its eggs in the Shah's basket. It has just lost Turkey over the killing of nine activists on board a Gaza-bound Turkish aid ship.

And now Israel is likely to lose Egypt, a critical and pivotal neighbour whose Camp David peace agreement in the late 1970s consolidated Israel's superiority in the region and undermined the official Arab state system.
Regardless of what governments emerge out of the rubble of political authoritarianism in the Arab world, they will have assertive foreign policies that challenge Israel's hegemony and further colonisation of Palestinian lands.
Meanwhile, the leadership of the Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, has lost all credibility in the eyes of the people there. The leaked negotiation documents obtained by al-Jazeera - offering wide-ranging concessions to the Israeli side - were the final nail in the PA's coffin.
Resistance-based movements like Hamas and Hezbollah have gained more popularity at the expense of Abbas's Palestinian Authority; they will emerge as major winners of the social turmoil unless Israel takes concrete steps to sign a peace settlement and withdraw from occupied Arab territories.
So Israel has become a military fortress. The best way for Israel to address its security dilemma is to accept a two-state solution as suggested by the international community - including its long-time ally, the US. full story

In the case of Bahrain, even though it had a Shia majority, the Shias never enjoyed this privilege. The Shias were always discriminated. Iraq and Bahrain were the countries where the Shias suffered most. The security in Bahrain was always very tight and brutal. The fear of secret police was always on the mind of the people. Any rebellion would be crushed with iron hand. No accountability on abuse of human rights (thousands of civilians are still missing). The British support for the security for the Bahrain King was never questioned.
The House of Commons always passed resolutions against Iran for few spies and criminals who were convicted by Iranian government, but, the house never brought to the notice to the world the crimes of Bahraini monarch on his people. It received a hefty amount in the name of security. The Bahrainis paid with their lives. Discrimination, Injustice prevailed in Bahrain.

How dare Obama talk about technology for the Egyptian youth when his speech did not utter one word about how Mubarak is silencing and restricting the technology of the youth of people. Make no mistake about it: this could be like the 1953 Operation Ajax in Iran. The US is now arranging for a coup against the will of the Egyptian people. It requires utmost vigilance and steadfastness and thus far those qualities have been abundant among the Egyptian people. This move by Obama towards Egypt can be described as criminal because it will lead to blood on the streets. I wonder if Obama during his talk with Mubarak discussed numbers like: just don't kill more than 50 or 60 a day, or something like that. His unprincipled cynicism reminds me of the conspiracies of the 1950s. The respected columnist Mr. Jamil Al-Dhiyabi compares Hizbollah to Talibans. What a joke. It seems that he is very much ill-informed or his inputs are from the news and article cuttings of the Israeli tabloids and newspapers. Saudi authorities have ordered columns by Khalid al-Dakhil, a prominent Saudi analyst and university lecturer, to be ripped out of Forbes Arabia twice so far this year.

Rajasthan and Gujarat are facing rebellions from the senior and polished BJP members. The approaching elections are alarm for this saffron party. These two states have already slipped away from its hands. Anti-incumbancy is at its peak. The party has reach to the point of no-return. The BJP has burned the bridges with its major NDF allies and the Ram Setu will not be able to let it cross to the power from the oblivion. The leadership issue is eroding its administrative base internally. To summarise, there is opposition to this party save from its own so-called disciplined cadres. The Uma Bhartis and Khuranas have already created the schism within the party. Any announcement of the mid-term poll will reduce its parliamentary seats into half. The stars are not favouring it nor the film stars can save it from dimming out. A poet says in such a situation:
